FitBit NEVER resolves customer concerns. They don't care about their customers AT ALL.
They started my FitBit Premium trial as soon as my purchase was made, before I had a FitBit to use it with. When I reached out to CS, they said I could use the app to meditate. I Don't Meditate. When I told them that, they were like, "sorry." When I posted it on Facebook, they publicly posted, "PM us the details," acting like they were going to help.
Privately, they looked me up, messaged that I could use the app, and said thank you for your patience. It just made me furious all over again! Why pretend you're going to help? Oh right, to make yourself look good in front of other potential customers online.
When I had a FitBit before, every time I had a problem, they wasted my time and didn't resolve it. Never once have they helped me. I was once such a loyal user. I had FitBit on a pedestal.
I thought they were the best in their field. But I see now that they don't give a crap about their customers. They literally took a loyal customer and destroyed that loyalty just because they don't care enough to be decent and treat their customers like human beings. I get it, FitBit.
I don't matter to you. I'm honestly so angry and bitter about how I've been treated that the FitBit Luxe I've waited eagerly for is now nothing to me. It's not right. I hope someone in Google, now that Google owns FitBit, will read the MANY reviews from disgruntled customers and clean up FitBit.
Otherwise, as soon as competitors start offering the same niche slender trackers that FitBit offers, all their customers will be gone.
Treating your customers like they aren't dog doo will always be important. FitBit apparently doesn't know that.
User's recommendation: NEVER preorder products. Assume they will break after two years. If you can, find another company to buy trackers from. If you ever have a problem, Customer Service will waste your time and SHOW YOU that they don't care about you.
Preferred solution: Deliver product or service ordered.
Fitbit Pros: Slender trackers that are attractive app is mostly well designed.
Fitbit Cons: Customer service absolutely does not care about customers.
