I have been a Fitbit customer for years now. This is the third time my device's screen has gone black and it is not working.
This just happened in June, and I contacted support. I had to mail back the faulty device and wait until they confirmed I wasn't lying before they refunded me. I purchased a new Fitbit, and 3 months later, the same thing happened with this new fitbit. The screen went black and it stopped working.
They are not allowing me to get a refund because I purchased it at kohls and if I want to get it replaced, they are again making me mail this one back and wait 5-10 days after they receive it to confirm I am not lying before I can get any replacement!
So annoyed with this product and customer service! Greedy company who definitely doesn't believe the customer is always right!
User's recommendation: Do not get a Fitbit and if you do, good luck with customer service if it stops working after 3 months. Greedy company!
Monetary Loss: $238.
Preferred solution: Full refund.
