According to FitBit Help, the time on your Fitbit device may be wrong after you travel to a different time zone or when clocks change for Daylight Savings. You should sync your Fitbit device to see the correct time.
Data automatically syncs to the Fitbit app throughout the day. Each time you open the Fitbit app, your device syncs automatically when it's nearby. You can also use the Sync Now option in the app at any time.
To sync you tracker manually, you should:
iPhone or iPad
  • In the Fitbit app, tap the Today tab > your profile picture > your device image;
  • Tap Sync Now.

Android
  • In the Fitbit app, tap the Today tab > your profile picture > your device image;
  • Tap the arrows next to Sync Now.

Fitbit calories burned.

My fitbit says I burned 1000 calories.. I started out on the treadmill with 1000 steps for the mid morning .

I walked on treadmill for 2 miles at 3.1 mph... At beginning of my walk I had burned a few hundred calories...My treadmill says I burned 260 calories..why such a discrepancy?

Hello there! Your Fitbit device estimates your calorie burn based on your age, sex, height, and weight. Make sure they are all entered correctly in your profile. If your device measures heart rate, the calorie burn estimate also takes heart rate into account. Please note that treadmill and any other exercise equipment may have different way of calculating calories burned so we don't recommend comparing data.
