I bought a Fitbit Surge 20 months ago. It cost about $230.

Within 4 months the band broke and Fitbit sent a replacement watch on warranty. The band broke again 13 months after purchase and Fitbit sent me another replacement, grudgingly as the warranty was expired. They told me they would not replace it again. I have had trouble syncing the watch with my phone the entire time, particularly with the last watch they sent me.

This is really a defective product and should have been recalled. Instead Fitbit offers me a small discount on buying another watch from them...that is insanity.

I will never buy another product from this company. I finally found a solution to my Fitbit not syncing with my phone...I got my Garmin in the mail today.

Reason of review: Damaged or defective.

Monetary Loss: $230.

Preferred solution: Full refund.
