I purchased a Fitbit IONIC in December 2017 and have enjoyed it very much and its functions. Recently, I was looking to change the clock face on my watch and Fitbit was telling me that I needed to do an update.

So I followed the steps and updated it.

Following the update, my watch started to glitch and then the touch screen stopped working. Despite the touch screen not working, I was still able to see the clock face. When I called Technical support to discuss of my issue, They told me to do a few tests pressing buttons on my watch and now nothing works, only getting a flashing Fitbit logo. Technical support says sorry...

nothing I can do to fix it.

I can give you 25% the next one.

I would not be in this position if I had not done the recommended update. To make it worse, I'd still have a watch working if I had not followed Technical support suggestions.

Not very happy right now.

User's recommendation: Do not do the update for the IONIC!

Monetary Loss: $330.

Preferred solution: Deliver product or service ordered.

Fitbit Pros: I enjoy the device while it works, Ionic functional abilities.

Fitbit Cons: Fitbit update messed up my watch.
