I’m still shaking my head as to why 2 brand new Fitbit Charges fell apart within 7 months and 5 months respectively with identical issues, PLUS OTHER problems. The company did send me a replacement tracker for the first set of problems, but as for the second set of problems, they offered a 20% discount code. Are Fitbits made to last only 5-7 months? I hesitate to purchase any Fitbit product at this point or recommend this brand to others...

Received a fitbit charge HR as a birthday present. Very happy with it until it died at 8 months. Replaced under warranty in a reasonably painless way. Replacement died at (you guessed it) 8 months. Fitbit will not touch it as it is beyond 365 days from original purchase. Not good enough to sell an expensive item like this that lasts 8 months. They then have the gaul to suggest I purchase another. My advice -- don't touch!!.

offconsumerpissed While I'd hardly call a Fitbit expensive, I can't say I'd necessarily recommend it to someone. Mine caused a nasty rash on my arm that did not clear up for weeks. I've never h...

Fitbit charge replaced twice and HR they would not replace as the original was purchased over 365 days ago. I was told that the unit heats up when charged lifting the band causing it to bubble and over time fall apart . I know of many people as well as myself that experienced the same problem . This is a manufacturing defect not caused by use. I would strongly recommend purchasing another product as this will continue to happen each and every...

My watch band came apart under normal wear. I contacted Fitbit, and they wouldn't off to replace it. Instead they could only offer me 25% off a new Fitbit. I thought about upgrading to a blaze, but the screen is known for cracking. Fitbit has to be the most poorly made product in this field. DO NOT BUY A FITBIT!

My fitbit HR broke after 10 months physically splitting apart where the band and the circuit meet. I got a replacement which died 3 months after. I treated the replacement well and it just stopped working with a rectangle shape that was half white and half black. I asked why I should pay for a replacement when the replacement they sent was defective. They have a script they follow. The quality of their product is lacking. Will never buy a...

Just a *** product...

My initial Fitbit Charge HR failed to display within the first year of purchase. I called the support line and was sent a replacement in August 2016. The replacement fitbit lasted until October 20th 2016 where it failed again. (face plate was stuck on 122) Called the support line and they offered a 25% discount on a replacement due to the fact that the warranty had expired from the original fitbit purchase. I tried to explain that if 2 fitbits...

Anonymous Hello
This is the same thing that happened to me. It's very frustrating.

So I replaced a Fitbit Charge HR awhile ago, not because ti would not work but because the band fell apart. It was only a few months old.....I kept the replacement for awhile and just recently activated it. It worked for a month and just quit. I call customer support, and they advise that the warranty is only good on the first one, and the year does not start again when you get the replacement. This does not make any sense. Their product does...

Contacted customer service on 10/4/2016 back and forth with terrible rep for over 45 minutes then to be transferred over to "management" to be told yet again that theirs nothing they can do to help with my charge that is out of warranty.Argued the fact that the band should not be detaching from the tracker and the reps best response was it often happens because of sweat on the wrist. Are you kidding me!!! That's the purpose. So we kept with the...

After putting on my Fitbit decided to run some errands in my truck. Rode around 60 miles seldom leaving truck. Arrived home sat and read paper and then I get an alarm that I have passed the 10000 pace mark (Really????). Then I check my heart rate 90bpm.....must have been running a marathon. Later in evening went to bed and pressed sleep on my iPhone app. The next morning it had displayed that I was asleep from the time I pressed going to sleep...

I purchased a Fitbit charge January 2015. August 2015 it quit syncing (7 months). Replacement received. Then on March 13, 2016 (7 months from replacement) wrist band broke (seems to be a common problem). Replacement received. September 19, 2016 (6 months since last replacement) wristband is coming apart again. ... See the pattern?! Not one of these have lasted more than six months but somehow I'm outside my warranty. For $129, I expect more...
