Fitbit is run by dunces. My band also broke and still under warranty, they replaced it. Awesome, or so I thought. Less than a year later and worn much less, the replacement watch's band also broke. How odd since I'm a take-care-of-my-things kind of person. A few clicks...Read more
I totally agree. Fitbit have a cheek to charge over 240 euros for a tracker and after 10 months the screen doesn't read properly anymore. The help on the site is also useless and the forum is completely useless. I cannot find an icon on my site to syn the tracker and...Read more
In 2015, my wife bought me a Surge. Loved it! But then within months it failed to function properly. Fitbit was wonderful, no questions asked, a pretty quick turn-around for a replacement. Now, however, Surge #2 has failed me. About a month ago, the glass (plastic)...Read more
Fitbit - Month long process with no solution
My scale I purchased with fit bit stop connecting to wifi. I called several times and recieved several emails to do the same thing multiple times. Even with changes they ask of me to make nothing work. My warrenty is up, So in other words I spent 130 on a regular scale. They don't care.
Fitbit - Cheap product and waste of money
Worst product ever!!! Had my Fitbit 1 year 1 month and 7 days before if completely fell apart. Not to mention I only wore it only 8 months out of the year. Fitbit customer service refused to replace it since it was 38 days out of warranty. I have 3 other friends that had fitbits that fell apart. Terrible product and waste of money. For what they cost, they should last longer.
Fitbit - Don't honour what their employees offer
I chatted with customer service through chat. Agent said Fitbit could be replaced as still under warranty even though already replaced. Now they are not honouring it. Just telling me to buy a new one. Very poor customer service.
Fitbit - Broken product
My husband bought me a fitbit a couple of years ago. It broke and my mother bought me the HR fit. That fit bit broke and my husband bought another one. The strap broke and I got a replacement. Now the replacement will not charge and the best the company can offer is 25% off after paying full price for three trackers that have all broken or fallen apart.
Eight months ago, I purchased a Fitbit charge for $145. About 2 weeks ago, my screen cracked due to the band popping off next to the screen and ripping onto the screen against the countertop. Then, this past weekend, during a 2 hour period, I lost it, likely due to the...Read more
I didn't like
- Lack of warranty their stalling tactics or their product
I had my fun encounter with Fitbit last week. My sons band broke out of warranty. I called not for a new one but to see how to purchase a new band. I learned you can’t purchase a band according to Fitbit “support”. All they could offer was 25% another product. If your...Read more
For everyone with a broken charge hr band READ THIS. I purchased a replacement band on amazon. $13 and we are back in working order! My son put it on himself. Clear instructions. Looks exactly like his old band. The only difference is that it doesn’t say Fitbit. I have...Read more
I just called because my son's band broke. This is a meticulously cared for Fitbit. Now I am reading they discontinued it because of so many problems with the band. So frustrating that they know there is a problem and warranty should be extended. Anyways, they told me...Read more

I didn't like
- Poor workmanship quality and poor materials used
- No repairs after 12 month warranty
The Fitbit HR fell apart and stopped working a little after a year of use. The product seemed to fall apart at the seams even after careful use. In addition, it does not hold a charge now. It seems to charge and battery indicator appears to be full but when used the...Read more
I had the very same issue of a broken charging band. They told me my Charge HR had been registered to someone in February of 2015, but I only bought mine the end of February of this year (2017). These puppies aren't cheap, thus telling me that I'm out of warranty...Read more
Summary if you don't want to read everything: Fitbit does not stand behind their product, does not honor their own warranty, and does not provide anything remotely close to positive customer experience. Spend your money on their competition, or get a Chinese Knock-Off...Read more
